Dr Judene promotes the following ideas:

  • Dental problems arise because of systemic problems
  • Dental problems can be healed and prevented and this can be done using natural and systemic approaches
  • Naturally preventing or healing dental concerns will result in naturally preventing or healing systemic concerns and vice versa
  • The basic building blocks of systemic health and problems are minerals
  • Minerals are the physical manifestation of the psyche (and form the mind-body connection)
  • The ideal situation is one in which dental treatments are not necessary
  • Recognizing that the dental industry, including holistic dentistry, is heavily focused on treatments and not on natural prevention and healing
  • Truly healing dentistry involves addressing the real reason why a dental problem occurred in the first place, which is often based on mineral imbalance
  • While various dental treatments and procedures (be them holistic or conventional) are wonderful in some situations, there is an understanding that any type of treatment (ie amalgam replacements, etc….) does not address the source of the issue. For example answering the questions, why did the cavity developed in the first place?, why did someone have inflammation of the pulp necessitating a root canal or extraction?, why does someone have gum disease?, and so on. By not addressing the underlying source of the initial dental concern, the person has greater susceptibility to systemic and dental problems incurred by the existing restorative work as well as future treatments. For example, someone who doesn’t address and heal the systemic reason why they had cavities and then had them filled with amalgam, will end up being more susceptible to not only further decay or dental problems of another type, but will also be more susceptible to the negative affects of the amalgam fillings. Creating a strong, resistant body and psyche will result in resistance to both dental and systemic problems.
  • Not blaming anyone, including dentists. While people, including dentists, may or may not have done things we don’t like or agree with, there is a recognition of the detrimental health effects of blame and resentment and Dr. Judene instead promotes acceptance (which doesn’t mean condoning) of the past and empowering ourselves in the present by releasing the past.
  • It is possible to have the healthy mouth you desire!
